 The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering echoes the above inspiring words of Dr. Kalam and stands with all its glory to materialize this dream to produce next generation budding engineers of our proud motherland. Here we impart integrated teaching program covering both theoretical and practical aspects of latest trends in this field. Here our greatest endeavor is to achieve highest level of academic excellence. The department imparts effective class room lectures using audio-visual aids, organizes various training programmes and offers the best facilities suitable for the undergraduate course. Seminars & workshops are arranged time-to-time to keep the students abreast of the latest technologies and current industry trends. Excellent state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with modern sophisticated equipment and a special R & D Cell supports both academic and research activities. The department helps the students keeping pace with the latest developments around the globe and equips them to crack several competitive examinations. The department is especially proud of its young and dynamic faculty members who constantly upgrade themselves by pursuing higher studies, participating in various seminars / conferences / workshops conducted by different institutions and R & D sectors of the country and also by regularly publishing research papers in various referred Journals and Conferences of international repute. The students carry out projects under the supervision of the faculty members and mostly present their innovative project / research work in various International & National Conferences. The university semester results of the students are also worth mentioning. After completion of their course, some students even join prestigious R & D sectors of the country to quench their thrust for knowledge, while some go abroad with scholarship for higher studies. The students bring glory to the department by qualifying in GATE with a good score and winning prizes in various competitions held nationally. The bright students get placed every year in different MNCs of the country with a lucrative pay package.

The department has recently received a grant of Rs. 14.5 Lakhs from AICTE under MODROBS. We have modernized and upgraded our Antenna laboratory with this grant-in-aid from AICTE and have installed equipments concerning Microstrip Antenna to strengthen research activities in the said domain. In a nutshell “Achieving goal and thriving for further excellence” is the main motto of this department.

Lastly, I feel privileged and honoured to be the HOD of this glorious department. I appreciate the aim of the department to ensure that the students reach their full potential in body, mind, heart and soul. I wish all a bright career and a happy future life.
