Rules & Regulations
- Please maintain silence in the library.
- Students will not be allowed in the Library
Reading room without Library Reference Card.
- Students have to produce their Reference Card
for consulting any documents i.e., books, journals,
magazines and will not be allowed to take those
books outside the Library, Reference books are not
for lending.
- At present students can borrow books by
producing their library lending Card.
- Without requisition slip, properly filled by the
students, no book will be issued to them, whether
for lending or for reference.
- Books will be issued to the students for 15
days.
- After the last due date stamped on the Book
slip, a fine will be charged in the following
rate:Re.1/- per day per book.
- Students are asked to check the books at the
time of issue. They will be considered responsible
later on for any type of damage or mutilation of
pages.
- In case of loss of borrowed book, the book has
to be replaced by new one.
- Smoking as well as Sleeping is strictly
prohibited within the Library premises.

- Students are asked to deposit their bags and
other materials in the separate bag counter.
- Talking in Mobile phone is strictly prohibited
in the Library Premises.
- Users should have Library Card along with stamp
sized coloured photo
- Library Card should not be transferable.
- Maximum borrowing of documents, 4 books for 15
days.
- Loss Card: Rs.20/- for duplicate Card.
- Damage of Document :
(A) Minor Damage : 20% of cost of Document
(B) Major Damage : 25% of cost of documents
- Request for Stationary items are not
permissible.
- No personal documents are allowed within the
library.
- Shelving back of documents should not be done by
the users to avoid misplacement of documents.
- Reference books are strictly prohibited outside
the library.
- Documents should be thoroughly checked before
leaving the counter Complains would not be
entertained afterwards.
- Users may write their comments to improve the
service of the library either in the feedback
register or to suggestion box.
- Notice Board should be followed from time to
time.
