All the students, faculty
members and administrative\staff of the
Institute are entitled for the membership of the
Library.The entitlements, in terms of no. of
books that they can borrow is given below. |

The library also provides a
separate Reference Library–cum-Reading Room at
the first floor of the Library building with
readers cubicles in a serene environment where
120 readers may spend hours doing reference work
at a time. |

At least one
copy of all text and reference books recommended by
concerned faculty members for different courses are kept
in this section. It follows open-access system that
allows users a direct access to the library collection.
Users may approach the reference desk for information
and any assistance in the use of library resources and
services. |

N.B.:
A student against Library Reference Card can borrow only
one reference book for a night, to be returned on the
next day by 1 P.M.
Circulation Rules:
- General books are issued to
all eligible members as per their entitlements.
- The reader should check the
book thoroughly for missing pages, chapter pictures,
while borrowing the book.
- No book in damaged
condition will be accepted from the reader.
- Mutilated and spoiled books
will have to be replaced by the borrowers.
- Reader can claim book for
reserve which already issued at the circulation
counter.
- Loss of book must be
reported immediately otherwise late fees will be
charged in the case the Librarian’s decision will be
final.
- For rules of replacement if
lost kindly contact the circulation section.
- The borrowing facility can
be withdrawn or restricted in case of misbehaviour
or misuse of the library.

Reprography Service |

|
Library provide
photocopying service to the faculty and administrative
staff of the Institute free of charge from the Xerox
Cell on the ground floor of Administrative Building
Other Library users can also avail the reprographic
facilities against nominal payment. |

are organized in different phases periodically to get
them acquainted with the library resources and
technology used to retrieve information at the right
